The Vilnius City Council has named Dr. Romualdas Danielius, Chairman of the Board of LIGHT CONVERSION, as a Patron of the Vilnius City Municipality.
Dr. Romualdas Danielius and LIGHT CONVERSION are among the seven persons and entities to have been awarded the title of Patron for their understanding of, and support for, the mission of Vilnius University and for having given significant material assistance to Vilnius University and its community. In addition, Vilnius City Council has named Dr. Romualdas Danielius of the Vilnius University Foundation a Patron of the Vilnius City Municipality.
Dr. Danielius is the majority shareholder and chief scientific officer of LIGHT CONVERSION. Over the course of his career, Dr. Danielius has designed several unique, stable devices that are widely used around the globe, such as the TOPAS optical parametric amplifier and the PHAROS and CARBIDE powerful femtosecond high repetition-rate tunable lasers with broad research and industrial applications.
Dr. Danielius has co-authored more than 300 scientific publications. Notably, more than 60 peer-reviewed articles have been published in various science magazines since the founding of LIGHT CONVERSION in 1994.
