Overview

TOPAS‑Prime is a two stage femtosecond optical parametric amplifier of white-light continuum. Two product lines of TOPAS‑Prime are available: a "standard energy" line with input energy of up to 3.5 mJ @ 35 fs (up to 4 mJ @ 100 fs) and TOPAS‑Prime‑Plus with increased input energy acceptance of up to 5 mJ @ 35 – 100 fs.

Both product lines come with wavelength extension options, which can cover the maximum wavelength range from 189 nm to 20 μm.

Output Specifications for both Topas‑Prime and Topas‑Prime‑Plus are given for:
  • 800 nm
  • 1 mJ
  • 30 – 40 fs
  • Gaussian beam pump at 1 kHz

Note 1:
Pump pulse duration and wavelength affects the specifications. Check the specifiaction with us if the wavelength or the pulse duration differ from above values.

Note 2:
TOPAS‑Prime output energy scales up linearly in 1 – 5 mJ range, provided the device is installed and optimized for a particular pump energy (the device has to be re-optimized for optimal performance should the pump energy change more than ±10 % from the installation value).
